Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

One of my favourite places for ramen! We tried the ramen combo set today, and everything was perfect! From the ramen to every single side. It felt like a lot of precision and heart was put into each dish! I also enjoyed every moment of my experience there because of the good service! Will definitely be back for more! I love that the set includes a dessert! My favourite side was the pork cheek!

There were set lunch options, but I got an ala carte order of the Toroniku shoyu ramen, which is essentially tsukemen dipped in a strong broth! Noodles were thick & springy, & I like to soak the tender pork cheeks in the soup to warm it up, before slurping it down with the noodles. The seating area may be abit sunny during lunch hour, especially if u’re facing Clarke Quay river, but should be enjoyable towards evening time. IG @pingguo301

This Japanese ramen restaurant is our family favourite place for many years. Before this they have another branch near cuppage. We revisit them today after so long. Their pork cheek are the best. Soft and melting in mouth. Although this time the meat is slightly changed. Harder than previous but we still love it’s their soup is thick, never fail us. It’s cooked by authentic Japanese in the restaurant. Will definitely continue to support them

The Japanese set of garlic fried rice, shio ramen, chawamanshi and salad bowl did not disappoint. The fried rice topped with crispy garlic pieces was fragrant. The flavour of the ramen soup was just right, and not overly salty. I’m usually a small eater, but there wasn’t a morsel of the set.

Pretty tasty ramen. Soup was not overly thick and gelatinous like what I get at many other ramen joints. It was tasty but not cloying. Noodles were chewy and springy, thinner than the noodles at most shops. Their gyoza was excellent, very thin skin with flavourful meat inside, was really good. Nice scenery of trees with big windows all around the seating area. They have a 16 dollar lunch set with ramen and 3 gyoza and a drink. Small portion of ramen was decently filling due to large amount of noodles. Egg was nicely seasoned and yolk was soft.

I’m not a ramen lover, but I really enjoy the ramen here. Very authentic - broth is so pure and the ramen are just right! Their gyozas are a must-have for me. Brought my friends there and everyone liked their food. Small outfit, very Japanese, unpretentious and lovely. Service is always great there!

First time trying this place. Wanting ramen and this place seems to have good reviews. Tried on weekend dinner, not much crowd. Place decently renovated. Good customer service. Shout out to this staff “Romket”, sorry if i see your name wrongly. She is very attentive and provided some good advice on food choices. The combo set is quite worth it. Price quite reasonable and portion is good. We shared this as Family of 4. The soup is quite flavourful and meat is tendered. Good choice if you are considering ramen.

A small and unassuming Ramen tucked away, out of sight, at a corner of the Central. THICK and flavorful ramen broth with delicious pork cheek, although it was a bit salty. Service was fast and prompt. Complimentary plain water would have been good. Very kid friendly which is a pro for parents and a con for people who want to enjoy a quiet meal. Prices were slightly higher than the average Ramen restaurant. Definitely worth a visit down.
